Your day trip to Essaouira from Marrakech will begin with a drive to Chichaoua village where you will stop for a cup of coffee before you continue. On your way, you will cross the Argan trees forest, where you might spot some goats climbing the trees. we take a short break to see how the Argan oil (also called the liquid gold) is extracted, you can visit a local ladies' cooperative and learn how some fine cosmetic products are locally made out of the rich Argan oil which is rare & only available on Morocco especially the region of Essaouira & Agadir. From here, we will carry on to Essaouira. Upon arrival, you will explore the beautiful city.

Itinerary

Day 1 Full-day Trip from Marrakech to Essaouira

Your driver will pick you up at 08 am and start your Essaouira day trip from Marrakech, enjoying the natural surrounding countryside, Essaouira is a medieval city known for its annual festival of Gnaoua music and a UNESCO world heritage site. There are many things to admire during your Essaouira day trip from Marrakech such as its pleasant weather being close to the ocean, La Skala, place Moulay El Hassan, the port, the ramparts, and the Jewish district, you can take a stroll in its amusing narrow streets exploring the ancient French and Portuguese architecture, enjoy the beach, visit the harbor and enjoy a delicious lunch in one of the restaurants of the fishing port. Return back to Marrakech in the evening at around 18:00 pm.
